Distance: 289 km, Time required: 5.5 hours, Means of transport: by road, by railway
People travelling from Mumbai can take the Mumbai Goa Highway NH 66 (earlier NH17) towards Chiplun and turn off to the right to Guhagar which is approximately 40 km away. Guhagar is also accessible by train, thanks to the Konkan railway. The trains ply between Mumbai and Chiplun. From Chiplun, you can opt for a taxi, or the local bus service. We can also arrange transportation to pick you up from Chiplun.
How to reach from Pune:
Distance: 239 km, Time required: 5 hours, Means of transport: by road
People travelling from Pune can reach Guhagar by travelling to Satara on NH4 and then to Patan, Koayana Nagar and then by descending Kumbharli Ghat to reach Chiplun and finally Guhagar.
